Maningford Bruce, Nr Pewsey, Wiltshire.
The forth Snail formation to appear in this area. Slightly smaller in size to the rest, but included an interesting floor lay which flattened itself 90 degress to the standing crop. This occured inside the avenue section. Situated further down the field as shown in the foreground was a small circle and spur. This particular snail had no head and antennae. Formed 1st August.
Second shot showing floor lay of this Snail formation. It was formed on very flat ground close to the town of Pewsey.
